A highlight of the summer was the visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan in early July. Mas, June, Tina and Sean had the great honour of meeting the gracious couple who were celebrating their 50th anniversary. It was a memorable occasion as people in Japan are not privileged to meet and converse with royalty.
