Missing information, documents, fees, etc., which are not submitted by the requested date will result in recommendations being returned and/ or held back until the next scheduled Yudansha Grading.
No application will be accepted without a Judo Canada passport.

Our sincere apologies for not posting the Season’s Greetings and the holiday schedule which was mainly due to a holiday technical breakdown.
We are now back to our regular schedule.
Listed below are some of the major events scheduled for the first few months of the new year:
On Sunday, January 27th, an Ontario Team Qualifier will be held in Kingston.
The Qualifying Divisions are:
- Juvenile (1992-93-94)
- IJF Junior (1989-90-91-92)
- Senior 1992 & before)
- Kata (Nage no Kata, Ju no kata, Katame no Kata, Kodokan Goshin-Jitsu)

Mr. Michio Fukushima, 8th dan from the Kodokan (Tokyo) will be presenting a Kata Clinic at the Takahashi Dojo in conjunction with Judo Ontario, on Friday, February 15th, 16th and 17th. On Sunday, March 2nd, the Ontario Senior Qualifier will be held at Tora Judo Club in Brampton.
This tournament is restricted to Ontario members only.
The Ontario Winter Games will take place in Collingwood, March 6-8th. Members from the dojo that qualified at the Munster Tournament on December 8th will be participating on the East Region Team

The Provincial Yudansha Examination and Technical Seminar will take place at the Takahashi Dojo March 29 and 30.
Dan preparations are taking place during the next 12 weeks.
A really busy season is coming up and we are still catching up on some past events!
Photos of the medallists from the PanAm Master’s Kata competition held in Jonquieres on November 30th are being posted at last!
Congratulations to Gold medallists in Nage no Kata, Britt Quinlan (tori) and Ann Larouche (uke) and Silver medallists, in Katame no Kata, Ann Larouche (tori) and Britt Quinlan (uke).

Winners at the Ajax Budokan Shiai November 24th in Whitby were: Silver medallists, Adam MacFadyen (Juvenile), Torin MacFadyen (Cadet) and Bronze medallist Liam MacFadyen (Jr)
