Judo Ontario—Executive Director
Judo Ontario, the governing body for the sport of judo in Ontario, is seeking an Executive Director to start September 4, 2007.
The Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Judo Ontario office and takes direction from a volunteer Executive Committee and specifically the President.
Main responsibilities include:
Ministry of Health Promotion grant applications, reports, liaison
Finance budgets, book keeping, reports, banking
Membership registration, services, insurance program
Staff leadership, motivation, accountability
Governance Assistance facilitate meetings of Executive / Board of Directors
Communication e-mail, e-newsletter, correspondence, website
Marketing & Promotion event management
Fund raising managing Nevada and Bingo funds
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to work with and provide support to volunteers
- Action oriented individual looking for results
- Background in administration, book keeping / accounting
- Computer / IT skills
- University degree/community college diploma in sport administration is an asset
Salary and Benefits:
