National Judo Day Launches Open House Programs in Dojos Across the Country

SEPTEMBER 25, OTTAWA, ONTARIO –

Judo Ontario East Region welcomes local area sport media to give one of the world’s fastest growing sports a try during the week of September 25 to mark National Judo Day on September 27.

National Judo Day is sponsored by Judo Canada to raise awareness of the health and physical benefits of judo. Media are invited to participate in a training session at local area judo clubs and interview, photography and film nationally ranked and recreational judokas in action.

With roughly 1,000,000 judokas worldwide, Judo is one of the few sports that has participants from nearly every country in the world competing at the Olympic Games. So learn more about this growing sport by contacting a local area judo club representative. The East Region will be going live tomorrow morning on the A-Channel News. Wednesday Sept. 27 at 7:40 am.
